Have your child color in the zombie’s face and then cut out the head. Masksįind a zombie illustration where the face is head-on and, if necessary, enlarge it so that it will fit your child’s face. They’re a perfect size because they’re tall enough to hold the paper figures upright. Then you’re going to glue the zombie figures to the toilet paper rolls. You might want to trace the figures onto cardstock and cut that out, too, then glue the two pieces together (for extra durability). Have your kids pick out which zombies they want, color them in, and cut them out. Using toilet paper rolls as reinforcement, you can turn my zombies into “action” figures. Once that’s dry, you can bag up the gift and use black and green tissue paper on top! 6. You’re going to color in one or two zombies, depending on if you want to decorate both sides of the bag or just one.Ĭut out the figures and glue them onto the sides of the bag, making sure the glue goes all the way to the edges and pressing down tightly. Get a green or black gift bag (these can be found on the cheap at the dollar store) and some glue. Gift Bag DecorationsĪdd some freakish fun to a plain gift bag by adding one or two of my zombies. Or you could even just color in the illustrations, frame them and hang them on the wall somewhere unexpected, like the bathroom or the hallway. Or you could cut them out and use them as food markers or place setting décor. You could color in five or six, cut them out, and string them together to make festive bunting. Liven up any ghoulish party with my zombie pages as decorations! Then you can write all the details for the party on the inside (where, when, RSVP by, etc.), or you can type it into the bottom-right corner of the page so that it’s inside when you fold. You can put the illustration in the top-left corner of the page so that after you print it off, you’ll fold it twice to create a little “booklet” card. Print off as many invitations as you’ll need and get the kids coloring (you might want to start a few weeks in advance). If your little one is having a zombie-themed birthday party or you’re throwing a family-friendly Halloween party, get the kids in on the invitation creation. Then you can have your kids (or your classroom) color them in and write messages on the outside and inside. Rescale the image so that it takes up half or a quarter of a typical 8.5 x 11” piece of paper (you can do this using a word processor), print it out, and fold it accordingly.
